At Saint Joseph School, we believe that a strong foundations of academic excellence is based on a trinity of trust between the school, student, and parents. By forging this partnership thorough our Home School Association, we show your child the value of teamwork...and by working together, we assure them of a strong foothold and point them toward the peak.
Grace Gustafson, Lisa Adase, Tracey Harmon, Cherish Gould, and Orla McKiernan-Raftery will be the committee in charge of the HOME AND SCHOOL ASSSOCIATION! Thank you very much for taking over from two extremely capable Co-Presidents. Nicky Gisleson and Kate Pezzano did an excellent job for the H.S.A.

Fun at
the Corn Maze
Our fall event this year was a fun after-noon
at the Fort Hill Farm Corn Maze!
Many
families came out to enjoy a gorgeous autumn afternoon and to “get lost” in the
maze. The HSA committee
was set up at the exit of the maze with hot
chocolate, fresh pop-corn, and baked goods to refresh the kids (and parents)
after their adventure.
When
the sun went down, the flashlights came out and some of our bravest students tried the maze again in the dark. A
blazing campfire pro-vided a cozy ending to a great day at the farm! Thanks to everyone who came out. We had a great time!
Getting Ready for the Light Parade
Believe it or not, the holidays are right around the corner! On the
Sunday after Thanksgiving, you will find many of us out enjoying Putnam’s
annual Holiday Dazzle Light Parade.
St. Joseph School has a “living Nativity
scene” float in the parade, and all students
are invited to participate. Information about costumes will be going home in November.Right now, we are looking for a few parents
who will commit to decorating the float before the parade. Creative ideas are
always welcome! Come lend a hand and help make this year’s float the best we’ve ever had!
If you are willing to help,
please send an email or a note to school including your name, number and email
address. The decorating date and time will be chosen by those interested in
working on the float.
